Is it already the spookiest time of the year? With Halloween just days away, we know things may look a little different in 2020, but we’re excited to put on our costumes, fill up on chocolate and enjoy the socially distanced festivities. Let’s dive into our latest edition of On The + Side!
Positive Focus
What stories make you smile? We share some of the latest news that has brought us joy.
- Travel may be limited for us for the foreseeable future, but one local teacher has implemented World Travel Wednesdays, allowing students to virtually travel and learn about music and culture in other countries.
- If you’re near the Downtown Orlando area, check out this Friday’s Monster-Mask-erade, a socially distant Halloween event for families to enjoy. The event, which takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., features a photobooth, arts and crafts, a costume contest, and most importantly, plenty to satisfy your sweet tooth.
- For those who miss wandering through a haunted house, don’t forget that you can still drive through the Haunted Road on select nights through early November. More dates and times have been added, and it is sure to give you a fright!
